Kimberly Ann Guilfoyle was born March 9, 1969. Her mother Mercedes, was from Puerto Rico and her father Tony from Ireland. Her mother who taught in the field of special education passed away from leukemia when Kimberly was ten. Her father worked in real estate and as an adviser to San Francisco’s Mayor Newsom until his passing in 2008.
Guilfoyle graduated from Mercy High school and went on to finish a degree at the Univeristy of California, Davis and later received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law. She held the position of intern at the San Francisco District Attorney’s office and also modeled for local department stores and magazines. She was also afforded the opportunity to study abroad in Dublin Ireland, at Trinity College.
After graduation she worked briefly as a prosecutor in San Francisco and as a Deputy District Attorney working on hard hitting cases that dealt with domestic violence, homicide, kidnapping and the ilk. She held the title of First Lady of San Francisco during her marriage to then Mayor Gavin Newsom. Guilfoyle was rehired to the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office in 2000 where she worked until 2004, working on high profile cases that gained international attention.
In early 2004, she took a position with Both Sides on Court TV, and a job as a legal analyst on Anderson Cooper 360. In 2006, she joined Fox News Channel as a host of The Lineup. She now co-hosts The Five and Outnumbered. She has a recurring guest appearance on The O’Reilly Factor, Red Eye With Greg Gutfeld, Hannity, and a weekly guest spot on Brian Kilmeade’s and Friends radio show.
She has won many awards for her work in both the legal arena and television. She serves on the Children’s Council of The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and the Esophageal Cancer Education Foundation.
In 2001, Guilfoyle married Gavin Newsom who later went on to become Lt. Governor of California. They separated in early 2005 and divorced in February 2006. Later in May of 2006, Guilfoyle married Eric Villency a furniture heir. She had their first child, a son named Ronan Anthony in October of the same year. They separated in June of 2009 and later divorced.
